MCCIn October 2010 the MCC made amendments to the laws. I would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to watch this video presented by former Essex and England’s John Stephenson explaining the changes to the laws. There are eight in all of which some are only relevant to televised games, however they are all now part of the laws and it is important for players to be aware of them.

I think it is important at this time to point out that some regulations in First Class and International cricket vary to the laws of the game i.e. the bouncer that passes over the batsmen head standing upright in the crease in the first class game is a wide because it is seen a playable delivery, but is a No Ball under the laws as in recreational cricket is seen as an unfair delivery.
