Beechwood continued their unbeaten start to the season with a seven wicket victory over Brasted Invicta at Otford.

The visitors won the toss, and despite being slightly under-strength, did not fancy fielding in the hot sun for two and a half hours and elected to bat first. This proved to be a bit of a struggle and they were eventually bowled out for 120 - Chris Savory picking up 4 for 14.

The hosts were never complacent when the run chase resumed though as sometimes low totals can prove the most difficult to get if taken lightly, and it was Hamish McLachlan who found some much needed form with the bat scoring an unbeaten 52 not out as Beechwood got to 121 for 3 in just 17 overs.
