Morris scored a rapid 68On an almost unbearably hot afternoon at Limpsfield, Beechwood drew their timed game against a plucky nine-man Dulwich Wanderers side.

Being invited to bat first, new opening partnership of Guerin and Makin were forced to face an excellent onslaught of swing bowling and indeed none of the top four were able to make any impression to the scorebook.

It was left to Morris (right, 68) and Woodward (24*) to battle through and bring Beechwood's total to a defendable level with a fine partnership of 89, and Gramopadhye also chipped in at the end with a good 14 not out - the hosts finished on 162 for 5 after 34 overs.

In reply, despite effectively starting the innnings on 0 for 2, Dulwich threatened for a while before the brakes were applied by the bowlers and the game slightly fizzled out as a draw with the visitors ending up with 108 for 6.
