sleepoutOn Friday 7th October I will be sleeping rough in London, not because my wife has thrown me out but in aid of the charity Action for Children which helps homeless children. I am doing it as part of a wider fund raising project call ByteNight (www.bytenight.org.uk) which runs each year and involves people from the IT community taking part in a sponsored sleep out.
I will be in a group from HSBC and the other participants are listed on the Just Giving donation page.

I would really appreciate any donation you can make (details of how to below) towards what I'm sure you will agree is a very worthy cause. We need to raise £10,000 as a group prior to 7th October so please don't delay. Donations can be made in the following way:

  • Using the Just Giving website (http://www.justgiving.com/hsbc11).
  • You can use the JustGiving text option. To donate £10 simply text BYTE50 £10 to 70070. You then get a text back to confirm and enter your details/gift aid etc.
  • Otherwise the tried and tested method of cash or cheque is also acceptable.

Please feel free to pass this on to anyone else you think may want to contribute.

Many thanks

Adrian
